Greetings Families!
I am excited to introduce myself as the proud principal of Morrow Elementary School! Although I am new to the school I bring a great deal of experience with me to Morrow Elementary. Previously, I have had the opportunity to serve at Mt. Zion Elementary, Northcutt Elementary and Morrow Middle School. I have been serving the students and families in Clayton County Public Schools for 23 years. I am a veteran educator with 15 years of classroom teaching experience and 8 years of Administrator experience both on the middle school and elementary school level.
It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as your new principal! I know that Morrow is an amazing school that serves a community of active and supportive parents. I am also a parent and my own children are products of Clayton County Public Schools. My children are my greatest accomplishment and something that I am most proud of.
As we bounce back and return to normalcy after the pandemic my goal is to address the needs of the whole child, ensuring that our school is a place where everyone is welcome, social and emotional needs are met, students are accepted and embraced, academic challenges are met and students demonstrate growth. My goal is to partner with our teachers, parents and the community to ensure that we are able to provide the instructional foundation and support that our students need. I welcome your thoughts, ideas and positive input throughout the year. The growth, development and success of our students will be the focus of my work this year. I look forward to celebrating our anticipated successes during the 2023-2024 school year.
